Love Letter: Sunday Forever

I stumbled upon the cutest shop, and I want one of pretty much everything on their site. Finding a new shop, brand, company, etc. is one of my favorite things to share. In this case, I found Sunday Forever when shopping for candles, which is something I do frequently. I LOVE a good candle, and I am often shopping for them because I burn them so much that I really do need new candles pretty frequently.

The thing about candles is they can be really difficult to shop for online. Do I trust the scent profile provided? What's the throw like? Is shipping astronomical? (Candles aren't exactly light...) So when I am looking for some new candles, I like to do a little Googling first.

When I found Sunday Forever, my exact Google search was "Sea salt (a new favorite scent) phthalate free clean burning candle." Call me picky, but I know what I like and what are non-negotiables for me. I don't do phthalates. I try my hardest to limit all plastics, especially single use plastics, but I specifically stay as far away from phthalates as humanly possible. I won't get into the why with this post, because I could go on for a while on that.

Instead, let's get into what I LOVE from Sunday Forever.

First, the candles I bought after finding their shop. The SEO gods from my Google search landed me with a direct link to Sunday Forever's Morning Candle. It is a truly amazing Sea Salt and Sage candle that I ended up buying two of from the jump, because the description hit the nail on the head for me.

Besides the description, the packaging was a total win for my personal aesthetic, so I added this beauty to my cart almost instantly. And then doubled it. I figured two would get me very close to free shipping, and my toxic trait is I refuse to pay for shipping and will just keep *adding to cart* until I get free shipping. I also knew if it wasn't for me, I could definitely use it as a gift. After adding the Morning Candle to my cart, Sunday Forever was kind enough to recommend what they think I might also like directly below the Morning candle on their site. Don't harsh my mellow... I like to tell myself the "YOU MAY ALSO LIKE" sections on websites are really curated for me and me alone. Let me live.

Well, the YOU MAY ALSO LIKE below the Morning candle led me on a lovely journey into Sunday Forever's website. I ended up adding their 11:11 Candle to my cart pretty instantly, because fig is one of my favorite candle scents, and Sunday Forever says it is their all time best seller.

As with Morning, 11:11 did not disappoint one bit. Both candles have an excellent throw and smell SO good. I can't sell the scents of the candles enough. They're really, really good. But my love for Sunday Forever didn't stop with the candles...

Once I hit the free shipping minimum with the candles *hair flip*, I had to immediately check out. Because I KNEW if I didn't focus on what I was there for (CANDLES, LYDIA... CANDLES ONLY) I would have ended up blacking out and spending way too much money instead of building myself a nice wish list.

While I want all of these things immediately... I'm very glad I stayed in my responsible lane, because once I started scrolling through the rest of this super cute shop, I found myself lusting after so many things. Here's what I have on my (getting longer by the day) Sunday Forever wish list:

  1. These Fluffy Socks. I could (and might) share an entire post about good, fluffy socks and how they are an absolute staple in my life. But I don't think I have to explain what I love about these particular socks. LOOK AT THEM. I would like multiple pairs of every color. Thanks.

  2. "I'd Love to But..." hoodie. Or cropped t-shirt... I'm more of a hoodie than cropped tee person, but both are super cute. And, honestly... this is maybe the most accurate depiction of my daily mood at exactly 6:30 p.m.

  3. The Herkimer Diamond Necklace. Known for their healing and meditative metaphysical capabilities, Herkimer diamonds are clear as glass quartz crystals originating in Herkimer, New York. Whether you're a crystal person or simply a liker of pretty things, join me in swooning over this beauty.

  4. These AND these ring dishes. I can't pick just one, and they're so different. So, I want them both... I would LOVE either one, but I actually use a ring dish a lot throughout the day. So, again... I want both.

  5. This Zodiac bracelet for the Libra in me. If you aren't an astrology person, you can design your own charm bracelet (love!!!). Personally? I love astrology. Is it hogwash? MAYBE. Did I just use the word hogwash? YES. It's a great word... very underused. Anyway... is astrology nonsense? Like I said, maybe. But I love it. And I bet I can guess your sun sign pretty quickly after meeting you and in under three guesses. Oh... that gives me a gift guide idea.

Per usual, I digress...

If you have never found or shopped from Sunday Forever before, join me in giving them some love. In their own words, "Sunday Forever is a small female founded and run business based in NYC. The brand was born in 2016 out of a desire to make perfectly packaged, nice things that could be delivered to your doorstep or to someone special." And, if I am anything, I am a lover of perfectly packaged, nice things. ESPECIALLY when they can be delivered to my doorstep.

And to keep things as clear as a Herkimer Diamond, my words, thoughts, and opinions about the things I love are my own. Sunday Forever has no idea who I am. Even if they did, I very much so doubt they would care enough about little old me to compensate me in anyway in exchange for a review. Give them a follow, shop their brilliant store for yourself or someone you love (seriously, AMAZING gift ideas!), and thank me later.

xo,

Lydia
